This online 5-week training will combine mindfulness techniques with state-of-the-art insights into stress mechanisms, coping with rumination and negative feelings, somatic complaints, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Mindfulness is being aware and awake to the present moment. Techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are incorporated into the program to promote greater awareness of your patterns. You will be taught how to change your relationship to unwanted thoughts, feelings, and body sensations.
Research has shown a significant impact of this mindfulness-based intervention on life quality and general well-being, as a reduction of feelings of stress, anxiety, negative thoughts, sleeping problems, and chronic pain.
This 5 week-group training (max. 12 participants) includes psychoeducation, formal meditation and movement practices, and teacher-led discussion and inquiry; and daily home practices and exercises. This is not a theoretical course, nor group therapy, but a practical evidence-based training where you will be taught several exercises.
Goals

- will learn how to recognize habitual, unhelpful reactions and learn to how to switch to an interested, accepting, and non-judgmental attitude to all experiences (including difficult emotions, thoughts, and behavior).
