BRUCC is a center for psychological services where teens (from 15 years old) and adults can go to for psychological counseling.
Adults (from the age of 24)
Throughout the life course, people may be confronted with psychological difficulties such as stress and burnout, anxiety and low mood, impactful life events, relational difficulties, grief, loneliness, and insecurity.
At BRUCC, adults can access an individual care trajectory (€90 per session) and/or participate in one (or more) of our group-based training programs focusing on various psychological themes (€12.50 per group training session, provided that you are affiliated with a Belgian health insurance fund).
Adolescents and young adults (ages 15 until 23 years old)
Research shows that adolescents and young adults are more likely to experience psychological difficulties such as insecurity, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress, loneliness, depression, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. BRUCC offers a listening ear to each individual and vulnerable story and develops a tailored care pathway in consultation with the adolescent or young adult.
Adolescents and young adults up to and including the age of 23 are entitled to free psychological support for mild to moderate psychological difficulties (primary care). This offer includes a limited number of individual sessions or participation in one or more group-based training programs. To be eligible for this offer, the adolescent or young adult must be affiliated with a Belgian health insurance fund.
If you are not affiliated with a Belgian health insurance fund, or if the request for support and/or the difficulties cannot be addressed within a short-term care trajectory, standard fees will apply.
Students (secondary or higher education)
The study period is often a challenging time and may be accompanied by stress, performance anxiety, low mood, concentration difficulties, or loneliness.
Students up to and including the age of 23 are entitled to free psychological support for mild to moderate psychological difficulties (primary care). This offer includes a limited number of individual sessions or participation in one or more group-based training programs. To be eligible for this offer, the student must be affiliated with a Belgian health insurance fund.
If you are a student aged 24 or older, you can access a number of affordable individual sessions (€11 per session) or group-based training programs (€12.50 per training) at BRUCC for the treatment of mild to moderate psychological difficulties. The only requirement is that you are affiliated with a Belgian health insurance fund.
